Codings contain the metadata for the steps taken to create the final dataset(s) from the raw results of the data collection. These include calculations done on variables, re-codings, and more.
This page shows all of the Codings for the selected Study Unit. Select a Coding to navigate to the Coding View page.
The page shows the metadata for a Coding. The Name and Description of the Coding are displayed. The Command field can show the exact processing command or programming code used.
The Related Variables list shows the variables that are affected by this coding. Select a Variable to navigate to the Variable View page. See the Select Variable page for information about Baskets.
