Each study conducted with the LISS Panels is available in the LISS Data Archive. There are 2 types of studies: Single-Wave Studies and Longitudinal Studies. Single-Wave Studies are studies which are conducted only once with the LISS Panels. Longitudinal Studies are conducted multiple times over varying time periods, to obtain longitudinal data. For a Longitudinal Study, there is a parent Longitudinal Study that contains the metadata for the study, and a Longitudinal Wave for each wave in the study. Each of these three types of views contain different information in the LISS Data Archive.
This page shows all of the LISS Panels. Selecting a panel navigates to the Study Units Panel View page.
This page shows all of the studies and projects conducted within a single panel, grouped by Study Type. Selecting a study navigates to the Study Unit View page.
The Study Unit View is a tabview, with each tab displaying different information about the study. The tabs and their contents vary, depending on the type of Study being viewed.
The Overview tab is displayed for all types of Study Units. It contains general information about the study. For a Longitudinal Study, the right column displays a list of waves for that study. Selecting a wave navigates to the Study Unit View page for that wave.
The Data Collection tab is only displayed for Single-Wave Study Units and for Longitudinal Waves. It shows a list of Collection Events and Questionnaires used to collect the data for the study.
This shows the metadata about when and how the information was collected from the panel members.
