LISS panel nominated for DANS Data Prize 2010 (20-05-2010)
The LISS panel has been chosen as one of the four candidates for the DANS Data Prize 2010. The prize will be awarded for the first time this year. It was established as a stimulus for making qualitatively good and durably stored research data available in the social sciences and humanities.
The four nominees, selected by the jury of the DANS Data Prize out of 18 requests for nomination, are the Dutch Parliamentary Election Study (DPES), The Historical Sample of the Netherlands (HSN), the LISS panel, and the Netherlands Kinship Panel Study (NKPS). One of these nominees will receive the DANS Data Prize 2010 from KNAW president Robbert Dijkgraaf on 18 June 2010.
DANS – Data Archiving and Networked Services – is an institute under the auspices of Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) which is also supported by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).
