In December 2021, Centerdata received the CoreTrustSeal certification for the LISS Data Archive.
CoreTrustSeal offers a core level certification based on the World Data System (WDS) of the International Science Council and the Data Seal of Approval (DSA) catalogue and procedures. This universal catalogue of requirements reflects the core characteristics of trustworthy data repositories: https://www.coretrustseal.org/about/.
The LISS Data Archive preserves and disseminates the data collected in the LISS panel and Immigrant panel. The organization of related management tasks as well as the archival and dissemination functions are described in the Preservation and Dissemination Policy of the LISS Data Archive document (Version 2.1 – December 2020).
This document also describes the measures that have been taken to ensure the security and preservation of the data in the long-term.
